Background Information

FANTASY INVESTING CLUBs and LEAGUEs

Yes, fantasy investing clubs and leagues do exist. Similar to fantasy sports leagues, fantasy investing leagues allow participants to compete with each other based on their ability to select and manage a virtual portfolio of stocks or other investments.

In a typical fantasy investing league, participants are given a hypothetical amount of money to invest, and they are then tasked with selecting and managing a virtual portfolio of investments over a specified period of time. The performance of each participant's virtual portfolio is tracked, and the winner is typically the participant with the highest return on investment at the end of the competition.

Fantasy investing leagues can be a fun and educational way for individuals to learn more about investing and practice making investment decisions without risking real money. Many universities and investment clubs organize these leagues as a way to engage students and members in investment education and promote financial literacy.

Moneycloud.ai is an online platform to create teams, clubs and leagues to play and learn fantasy investing, participate in competitions and create personal and generational wealth. Moneycloud.ai provides educational resources and tools to help participants learn about investing and improve their investment skills.

HISTORY of FANTASY SPORTS

Invented in a Manhattan hotel room in 1962, Fantasy Football exploded in popularity when, in 1997, CBS.com launched its first live version of the game. It has since amassed an estimated 59 million players in North America, 81% of which are male. The popular game allows groups of friends, co-workers and even strangers to compete with each other with virtual squads, which each participant drafts by himself or herself, based on real NFL football teams. The player whose fantasy team racks up the most points by the end of each NFL season ends up on top. This game, which has since traveled across the pond and been converted to a successful fantasy soccer version, can be immensely fun, perhaps even addicting. In fact, some call it a form of gambling, which is disputed by others.

FANTASY INVESTMENT GAMING

MoneyCloud leverages the idea of Fantasy Sports to deliver a next generation software application and cloud platform for the purpose of FANTASY INVESTING either as an INDIVIDUAL, GROUP or as part of FANTASY INVESTMENT CLUBS and LEAGUES.

Most people that join and play our Fantasy Investment Game (MoneyBall) believe they have a relatively good chance of winning more. In addition, as the virtual game, and in particular its daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly Fantasy version, involve making a lot of money, this has attracted “super players often called moneyballers™” that design their own algorithms to gain huge advantages by best predicting how stock investing games will go. Unlike casual fans, these super players’ main motivation is profit, of which they can make a lot. These individuals have made a career out of playing our Fantasy Investment Game.

SOME SIMILARITIES to GAMBLING ...

A big part of the excitement surrounding Fantasy Moneyball is the challenge of competition along with sponsored cash prizes. This is, in part, why the game can be incredibly addictive and bring people together in friendly competition. Somewhat similar to poker, players succeed through skill and experience. Additionally, they need knowledge of the markets, sectors, strategies, media channels and knowledgeable influencers to win monetary rewards. Many players sink hours into setting up their fantasy teams and perfecting their virtual portfolios.

For many, watching sports is about sticking with your team and sharing that love for them with fellow devoted fans. In contrast, Fantasy Moneyball is all about individual equity-value, completely irrespective of loyalty to a particular equity, group or sector. Fantasy Moneyball has split loyalties. For instance, Fantasy Moneyball players can find themselves rooting against particular securities held within opposing team porfolios they previously supported if one of their fantasy draft securities is on the opposing side during a matchup game.

Monecloud Fantasy is a one-of-a-kind experience!!

CREATING SOCIAL BONDS

The Moneycloud Fantasy experience is one shared with family, friends or co-workers. It’s a great way for old companions to stay in contact with each other.  Many players remain in touch, no matter the geographical distances, to compete with one another in Fantasy Moneyball, to communicate their draft picks, to offer trades or just to trash talk. New friends have also been made through this game, as it’s a very bonding experience that lasts throughout the season, years and even lifetimes. It even boosts comradery ... and therefore productivity ...  at work. Companies have found that employees who played Moneycloud with their coworkers were more engaged at work than those who played with non-colleagues.

Moneycloud enhances investment knowledge and experience

Watching your Financial Advisor grow a portfolio is fun, but like any relationship, client-players feel removed from the investment process. Fantasy Moneyball breaks that barrier, as it is highly immersive, allowing client players to feel like actual portfolio managers. Unlike investors in the real market, who may feel frustrated with the inability to impact their beloved team portfolio’ results, Fantasy Moneyball players can shape their own team portfolio, thereby actively influencing the virtual game’s outcomes. In fact, the Fantasy Moneyball draft is one of the most exciting parts of the game, allowing people to mold their own team-portfolio. As Fantasy Moneyball players follow individual actual stocks, ETF's, etc. across all team portfolios, they learn to see the market in a more expansive way, appreciating many team-portfolios’ talented players instead of just their favorite team. Fantasy Moneyball players attest to its quality as an interactive game that enhances fans’ interest in the market.

ACQUIRE SUBSTANTIAL INVESTMENT SKILLS

Playing Moneycloud Fantasy involves scouring through vast amounts of information to set up the perfect virtual team-portfolio with the right fantasy stock-equities in every position or sector. Investors that played Moneycloud Fantasy were observed to perform better in investment-related tasks. Another significant part of the game involves recognizing talent and being able to out-negotiate fellow competitors during fantasy stock-equity exchanges. Many fans learn to set up their own spreadsheets, a skill that is highly valuable in the workplace. In fact, the competitive nature, analysis and information-processing it takes to do well at Moneycloud Fantasy can be  solid preparation for many tasks in the workplace.

The Bottom Line: Moneycloud is amazing because it’s so immersive and fun to play. Few other games can be so engaging or social.

How Do You Play Moneycloud Fantasy?

Moneycloud Fantasy is a popular game in which participants create a virtual portfolio (your team) composed of real-life stocks (your  players). The performance of these stocks in actual investment trading games determines the scores and outcomes in the fantasy league.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to play fantasy football:

  1. Join or Create a League:  Find a fantasy investing league to join, or gather a group of friends or colleagues to start your own league. You can play in various formats, such as public leagues, private leagues, or daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly contests.
  2. Understand the Rules: Familiarize yourself with the rules and investment scoring system of the league you join. Each league may have different settings for scoring, portfolio composition, and trading. Make sure you understand how value-points are awarded for different stock-market activity like money-made, percentage increase, win-loss, gains, and more.
  3. Draft Your Roster-of-Stocks (your portfolio): The most exciting part of fantasy investing is drafting your roster-of-stocks (portfolio). Depending on the league format, you'll typically have a draft where you and the other participants take turns selecting stocks from the pool of available securities. The draft order is often determined randomly or through a predetermined method.
  4. Build Your Team (portfolio): After the draft, you'll have a portfolio of stocks. Your team will usually consist of starters (stocks who you believe will perform well each week) and backups (substitutes in case of market ups/downs or weak-performance). Roster-of-Stocks (portfolio) sizes vary depending on the league.
  5. Set Your Starting Lineup of Stocks: Before each week's games, you'll need to set your lineup by choosing which stocks from your roster will start. Pay attention to factors like news, market ups/downs, matchups, and stock performance to make informed decisions. Make sure to check for any stock updates or late-breaking news before setting your starting lineup.
  6. Follow the Market: As real market investments are made, monitor the performance of your selected stocks and track their statistics. Value-Points will be awarded to your fantasy team based on how well your stocks perform in their respective games.
  7. Exchange stocks, make stocks available to other team-portfolios: Throughout the season, you may have opportunities to trade stocks with other participants in your league, where you improve your team-portfolio. Additionally, you can often pick up new stocks or stocks not currently on any team via the stock wire. Pay attention to individual-stock dynamics, performance trends, and upcoming matchups to make strategic moves.
  8. Manage Your Team: Fantasy Investing requires ongoing management. You may need to make adjustments to your lineup due to market-dynamics, bye weeks (when a stock's team has a scheduled week off), or changes in sector roles. Stay engaged with market news, analyst reports, and overall stock-portfolio performance to make informed decisions.
  9. Compete and Score Points: Your team's performance in each game week will be measured based on the scoring rules of your league. Value-Points are typically awarded for various achievements like scoring stocks, money-made, highest-percentage, percentage gained, and more. Your team's total points determine your rank in the league standings.
  10. Play the Season and Playoffs: A fantasy investing season usually lasts for 12 weeks, mirroring a real market season based on a calendar quarter. Most leagues have playoffs where the top-performing teams compete for the championship. The exact format and rules for the playoffs vary among leagues.

Remember, the above steps provide a general overview of how to play fantasy investing. The specifics may vary depending on the platform or league you choose. Enjoy the process, engage with your fellow participants, and have fun analyzing strock performances and making strategic decisions throughout the season.
