Phillip Thoren - Founder, Vision
Phil, an active member of the investment ecosystem, began his professional career in 1984 while employed at Intel, a semiconductor technology company. At that time, Phil along with Paula Chambers decided to form an investment club with friends and associates in the Portland Oregon area. Our club had industry expertise and smart minds from Oregon, MIT, Wharton, Carnegie Mellon, Stanford and a local brokerage firm. An investment of $10,000 at that time and five stock splits later is now worth over $1 million. Now 30 years later, MoneyCloud rekindles that passion to help people learn and grow together. He cherishes family, friends and relationships and with Scott and his daughter Ashley is growing knowledge daily, building familly wealth and MoneyCloud represents another step in our journey.

Chase, as a young active investor, made a few hundred thousand dollars, and immediately experienced the importance of knowledgeable investing along with many of the pitfalls and hurdles that investors face. Chase's focus is to leverage our platform as a way to enhance social conversation and the exchange of knowledge for people who otherwise would not have the ability to learn without losing their shirts and future.
